January 2010:
We were all thrilled that John Hearle was finally recognised for his tireless and indefatigable work behind the scenes by his inclusion in the New Years Honours List to recieve an MBE. Not only have he and Ann opening up their lovely garden but John also took on the task of setting up the Trust, bringing together representatives from all the local community groups, enlisting professional support and securing funding over a twelve year period to both ensure that the work would be carried out not only to the highest academic and professional standards but could also be run as a community project, involving as many people as possible.

Also in January 2010:

Congratulations to Andy Coutts and Steve Milne
who have both been awarded their NVQ in Archaeology
